Hi, I'm Michael! I've been a professional pet groomer since 2012 and absolutely love caring for your furry family members. At home, I have my own "Goof Troop" – Mayday (my Pitbull) and Dixie (my Cairn Terrier) Skrypt (my Schnoodle) and Betty (my pitmix)
Your Pet's Well-being is My Priority: * Safety First: Your pet's safety and comfort are the most important things to me.
* What Every Groom Includes: To ensure your pet gets the best, every session includes hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, teeth brushing, nail grinding, and thorough ear cleaning.
* Important Health Note: For their well-being, I cannot groom pets that are currently limping. Also, anal gland expression is a service best performed by a veterinarian.
*Extra Care for Special Coats: Matting and Premium Styles. My goal is a happy pet and a beautiful groom! Sometimes, coats need a bit more specialized attention:
* Matted Pets (Gentle Solutions for Tangles): Matting can be painful. I'll always choose the kindest approach. I'll assess your pet's coat upon arrival and discuss options with you.
* Minor Tangles (Safe to brush out): Adds $15 per extra 15 minutes beyond the usual groom time.
* Heavy Matting (Requires clipping short for comfort): Adds $20 - $75 to the regular price, based on size and severity.
* We'll always talk about any extra costs before starting.
* Premium and Complex Coats (For Poodles, Doodles, Bichons, fluffy double coats, etc.): These styles require more time, skill, and product, even with regular grooming.
* Surcharge: An additional $20 - $50 will apply on top of the standard price. We'll confirm this with you upfront. No Surprises!
*If your pet needs services that fall into these "Extra Care" categories, I'll discuss it with you and get your okay on any potential extra costs before I begin.
Booking and Payment:
* Appointments: Grooming appointments are generally about an hour. When booking online, please choose the earliest available slot on your preferred day.
* Payment Methods: I accept cash, check, or card.
* Card Fee: Please note, Pawgo (our booking platform) adds a 3.5% transaction fee to all card payments.
